The Strategic Edge was formed in 1989 by Joan E. Primo and Jay
A. Wedeven. The company mission is to provide solutions to
a variety of research and strategic issues for the real estate
and retail industries, and financial and public entities.
Client data, combined with the latest business, economic,
demographic, and geo-segmentation data, provide the basis for
market analyses. GIS and related applications include computerized
mapping, database development, trade area analysis, optimal site
location, and sales forecast modeling. Completed projects range
from stand-alone hard copy documentation to electronic databases
tailored for integration into the clients' own GIS applications.
